CONCEALED CARRY FUNDAMENTALS is designed to bridge the gap between obtaining a pistol permit and safely carrying a handgun in public. This introductory course helps students build the mindset, safety habits, and mechanical foundation required for responsible everyday carry. Students are introduced to concealed carry gear selection, safe handling around the body, drawing from concealment, defensive accuracy, reloads, basic malfunction clearing, and situational awareness concepts that apply before and during a violent encounter. This is NOT a high-speed performance course. It is a practical concealed carry class built to make students safer, more competent, and more deliberate with the firearm they may choose to carry. WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR New pistol permit holders, everyday carriers seeking more confidence and structure, and developing shooters looking for a practical next step after certification. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN Responsibilities and risks of carrying in public, concealed carry equipment selection, safe holstering and reholstering, drawing from concealment, defensive accuracy at close range, emergency reloads, common malfunction clearing, and situational awareness concepts including the OODA Loop. COURSE FORMAT One-day, 6-hour course combining classroom instruction, dry practice, and live-fire range work. Classroom: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM Transition / Gear Up: 12:00 PM–1:00 PM Range: 1:00 PM–4:00 PM REQUIRED GEAR Safe functional handgun, quality holster covering the trigger guard, sturdy belt, concealment garment, minimum of 2 magazines, eye and ear protection, 100 rounds of ammunition, notebook and pen, and weather-appropriate clothing. IMPORTANT NOTE Safety is non-negotiable. Reholstering is always slow and deliberate. Unsafe behavior may result in removal from live-fire participation.

Cancellation Policy
Students are able to cancel 30 days in advance to the class date in order to receive a full refund. Cancellation request submitted less than 20 days before the class will not be refunded but may receive tuition credit towards another course. Students that cancel within 7 days of the class will not receive a refund or tuition credit. In the event of an emergency or urgent unforeseeable circumstance, students may request tuition credit after 7 days ,which will be reviewed on a case by case basis, however there is no guarantee.
