DEFENSIVE PISTOL FUNDAMENTALS Defensive Pistol Fundamentals is the NEXT STEP for students who already understand basic handgun safety and concealed carry fundamentals, and are ready to begin applying those skills in a more active defensive context. This course is designed to move BEYOND basic gun handling and into practical defensive application. Students will revisit core fundamentals such as drawstroke, presentation, first-shot accountability, reloads, and malfunction clearing, but the emphasis is on using those skills with more PURPOSE, more AWARENESS, and more EFFICIENCY. Topics include > GETTING OFF THE X, simple lateral movement. >MOVEMENT TO COVER & understanding the difference between COVER AND CONCEALMENT. >Issuing VERBAL COMMANDS. >Using the OODA LOOP to support target acquisition and target discrimination. >Students will also work on timed DRAW TO FIRST SHOT > And EMERGENCY RELOAD standards to build more efficient and accountable gun handling under pressure. This is NOT an advanced Combat Pistol class, and it is NOT a beginner pistol permit class. It is the BRIDGE IN BETWEEN for shooters who want to become more capable, more disciplined, and more prepared to solve simple defensive handgun problems under pressure. PREREQUISITES: Students should already have safe gun-handling habits and a basic understanding of concealed carry or defensive pistol fundamentals. Completion of Concealed Carry Fundamentals or equivalent experience is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. RECOMMENDED GEAR: -Safe, functional handgun -Quality holster that covers the trigger guard -Sturdy belt -Concealment garment -At least 3 magazines -Magazine pouch or practical method of carrying reloads -Eye and ear protection -200 rds of ammo (4 Boxes) -Weather-appropriate clothing WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR Concealed carriers ready for the NEXT LEVEL -Permit holders who want more than static lane shooting -Students who need structured work on drawstroke, movement, reloads, and defensive decision-making -Shooters preparing for more advanced coursework late

Cancellation Policy
Students are able to cancel 30 days in advance to the class date in order to receive a full refund. Cancellation request submitted less than 20 days before the class will not be refunded but may receive tuition credit towards another course. Students that cancel within 7 days of the class will not receive a refund or tuition credit. In the event of an emergency or urgent unforeseeable circumstance, students may request tuition credit after 7 days ,which will be reviewed on a case by case basis, however there is no guarantee.
