Intro to Shotgun is a beginner-friendly shotgun training course for new shotgun owners and developing shooters who want to learn the platform safely and correctly. Students will build confidence with safe handling, loading and unloading, chamber checks, mounting, recoil control, ammunition basics, and patterning. This class builds real working familiarity with the shotgun and creates a strong foundation for future defensive shotgun training. Who This Course Is For: New shotgun owners Beginner shooters Developing shooters with limited shotgun experience Students preparing for defensive shotgun training What You’ll Learn: Safe shotgun handling Parts and controls Loading and unloading Chamber checks Proper mounting and body position Recoil management Ammunition basics Patterning Basic shotgun manipulation Prerequisites: No advanced experience required. Students must be legally able to possess a firearm and follow all safety instructions.
